Burst Client for Windows v0.3.9 - All in One: Wallet, Plotting & Mining
-
The problem you guys have is because you altered the plots in some way.
The software checks the size of the plot folder and keeps on plotting depending on the size -sequentially . If you delete not the latest plot but a plot in the "middle" or the first - then the new plots get calculated wrong. Overlapping appears.
-
@daWallet Is there a way to correct the issue without deleting all of the plots and starting over ?
-
@tomahawkeer You can plot by hand using only the wplotgenerator -> see Software Category here.
I don't know how you're files are ordered now. Can you send a screenshot or a list of filenames?
-
@daWallet nah ill just re-do them. I would rather do them by hand anyway. Just going to take a long time. Also going to look into the GPU plotter hopefully it will take less time.
-
Well, I did a test.
I had the all in one wallet write a plot file, made sure there wasn't any overlap. Then I started a new plot file after the first was complete, and as its sitting here writing, the plot file I just started, and the plot file that I wrote previously, are showing as overlapping. Something is wrong with how its looking at existing plots, and / or writing new plots.
-
@tomahawkeer I'll check that.
-
I can't recreate this now, as I deleted all of the previous plots on this drive and started a new single 4TB plot for it, however on my other machine its plotting fine. No idea why its happening

Good afternoon ,
I just installed this client , but it keeps on getting Java to make my cpu go crazy (100% in task manager) , what can I do about this ?
Its the first time I install a burst client.Greetings
-
@jynson Hi, java on 100% means that you are downloading and verifying the blockchain in the background. This is necessary for using the local wallet. It will take around 4 to 8 hours and it is done only once in the beginning.
-
@daWallet Thank you for the amazingly fast answer!!
-
Hi everyone, I'm new here and pretty new to the whole cryptocurrency world. I have a question regarding the client.
- The client seems to be stuck on the final part of downloading the blockchain. Is this normal?
- The blockchain has taken a long long (two days now) time to download. Is this normal?
- The online wallet access through the client tells me I don't have java on my browser. Does the client default to a certain browser? Can that be changed?
Thank you
-
@socalguy
Blockchain download should take only 4 to 8 hours so probably you better download the blockchain from db.burst-team.us and extract it to %AppData%\Roaming\BurstWallet\burst_db (appdata folder is hidden!) and then you should restart your client, it will resync with the missed blocks only (downloaded blockchain should be max from the last 24 hours from that link)...The online wallet that access through the client use internet explorer so you have to install java on your Internet Explorer. You can allways use for example mwallet.burst-team.us:8125 through any browser to access the online wallet. You can check the state of other wallets in util.burst-team.us:8888 .
Good mining ;P

Thank you for the response. I downloaded the blockchain and added it to the folder.
-
@daWallet Hey man, i don't know if i am supposed to be written this here but the blockchain in db.burst-team.us is down, it says the content has been moved and redirect to burstcoin.biz and then to web.burst-team.us ...
Could some one take a look please...
-
@gpedro The process that zips it got hung, fixed now.
-
@haitch Thanks man...
-
New version 0.3.4 out:
- more robust local wallet start-up by haitch
- newest jminer (v0.4.5) by luxe
- fixed market information in footer
- added links to faucets and iirc
- minor bugfixes and improvements
- added update notification when new client is available
http://sourceforge.net/projects/burstwindowswallet/
Edit: Just install the new version over the old one. Deinstall of the older version is not necessary.
-
so do i have to uninstall my old wallet first?
please have patience with me. i'm only financially educated :D . semi-tech retard here
-
You don't have to deinstall the old one. Just install the new version over the old one.
(Deinstall won't hurt and won't delete your passphrases, but is simply not necessary)
