Thats an awesome deal!
-
Fudge! as always it doesn't ship to my country, aaaaa well good deal @haitch thanks for sharing that :D
-
@Zeus Cover the purchase, shipping, and any import duty - pay in advance and I can get them and ship to you.
-
@haitch I've been looking to expand recently and this looks great but I also can not get them shipped here. Could you do this for me? (depending on postage costs) And do you accept Burst? I could pm you my address.
-
@Slaw PM me where the drives are getting sent and I can give you a shipping estimate. US$ preferred but I can do Burst.
-
@haitch sent you PM, please check.
-
@haitch you are GODSEND
-
@samreader1 I don't know about godsend, but thanks :) Buying some drives ?
-
bought 2!

@Burstminer Got mine today ... time to start plotting. They're refurbs, but you wouldn't know it at a quick glance - apart from a couple of very minor cosmetic blemishes and small scratches they look almost brand new.

how about their health?
-
@jervis will find out soon enough
-
@jervis None DOA - all recognized just fine. Now plotting 150,000,000 Nonces in GPU direct mode - it's in the file building phase at the moment @ 550MB/sec. Current ETA is 291 years to complete ;-)

I tried to use my GPU to plot but it has 0 MB/sec for 10 minutes. I cancelled. Does it need 128 bits GPU?
-
@jervis No - regular PC is fine. Were you doing it in direct mode or buffered mode? In direct mode, it has to build the file, then fills it in. Nothing will appear to be happening, possibly for hours. Go into Resource Monitor and check the GPUPlotGenerator is writing to disk.
-
@haitch i've done direct and buffered. nothing happens. just 0 MB/sec. Where can i find the resource monitor? I've used the GPU 1 gb and APU 3gb, both 0 MB/sec. :( do i have to wait for hours?
-
@jervis Task Manager -> Performance -> Open Resource Monitor. Goto disk and expand the areas.
How big a plot are you trying to do ?
-
@haitch right now, it's only 5Tb left. I have done plotting little by little my 12TB using CPUs :( yeah, the struggle
-
@jervis a 5TB plot will take hours - just verify that it's using disk and be ptient.
