What Does Deadline Mean?
-
@jervis use pool.burst-team.us, you won't make many deadlines on ninja with 336GB.

@FXALTareeq I'm just trying to mine with 366 GB space.. I didn't know that. What pool should i use? This is my first time mining though.
AS @haitch said move over to the pool.burst-team.us and I would advise you to seriously consider upgrading to more TB if you can. Mining BURST has really caught on and a LOT of Miners are add more TB to their arsenals. .

@jervis 360 GB is so tiny space for ninja pool. I suggest burst team's pool.
-
@moonjeina im at the burst team pool too but still no deadline... been there for a day
-
@jervis Post a screenshot of your miner in action.
-
-
According to screenshot, you are finding DL almost on every round
-
@jervis You seem to be getting deadlines to submit, but no confirms back. I took a look at the logs on pool.burst-team.us, and your deadlines are not being received.
- Open a cmd.exe windows and do "nslookup pool.burst-team.us" - what does it resolve to ?
- Are you manually configured, or using the AIO wallet/plotter/miner ?
-
@haitch im using the wallet.

"nslookup pool.burst-team.us"
can we skype? I need to be taught extensively about this. i am just so green about mining. Thank you.
-
@jervis No skyp currently. In Windows do: Start -> Run. Enter cmd.exe then hit enter, it'll open a black box, type in:
nslookup pool.burst-team.us
Post what it returns. To close the box type exit hit enter.

@jervis Okay, that's the correct address. In the same cmd.exe box do: ping pool.burst-team.us - do you get replies or timeouts?
Also go to http://ipchicken.com - it will tell you your public IP address. Post it here and I can monitor if your traffic is getting to the pool.
Thanks.

@jervis thanks. Can you please temporarily close the web browser window you have to the pool so I can easier filter your incoming traffic. Your data is getting to the pool, so I need to figure out whats going on at this end.
-
@haitch i have closed it moments ago. Thanks.

@jervis Your Reward Assignment is not set correctly. In the AIO WAllet - click on Start Mining. Then click on the left hand side "Change Reward Assignment". Fill in your pass phrase in field 3, and BURST-32TT-TSAC-HTKW-CC26C in the 4th, then click Submit - wait 4 rounds and you should be good.
-
@haitch what passphrase should i use? local or online?
-
-
@jervis - The passphrase for your account - it's the same whether it's a local wallet, or online one. Just whatever passphrase is associated with you BURST ID.
