ANSWERED!: need help with local wallet?
-
@HiDevin OK try this... Close everything... Make sure you exit Burst Wallet from System Tray too ... After that run run.bat .... Let it keep running .... Then start your wallet
-
@Castiel ok
-
@HiDevin Also if you are running windows 64bit ... Make sure you install Java 64bit version
-
@Castiel I know I did that
-
@Castiel run.bat closes after 5 seconds after opening it
-
@HiDevin Rename this as run.bat and copy it into the directory. It will find your java and run the wallet. 0_1474678478954_run.bat
-
@haitch ok
-
@haitch popping a cmd every 5 seconds and closes it? got a bit scared for a quick sec lol

Burst Wallet isnt starting nor is java starting in task
-
@haitch @HiDevin In past ... I remember few people downloaded db from http://db.burst-team.us/ & replaced existing one with it to fix this issue .... Though I am not sure if this will work
-
@HiDevin okay - it's finding your java, but can't start the wallet for some reason. Do Start -> Run. put in "cmd", then goto the directory where the wallet is, and run the run.bat file from there. Let us know what error you get.
-
@haitch ok
-
@haitch well i run the batch file and i can't really click on it fast enough and paste a whole error while it closes.
-
@HiDevin I got your error message above. It's an issue opening the Database - as @Castiel suggested, down the DB from http://db.burst-team.us. Extract the files in the .zip to <wallet dir>\burst_db, then try starting the wallet.
-
@haitch so basically, in the contents of the folder it should overwrite those? 3gb takes me like ages lol
-
@HiDevin Haha ... Trust me instead go with Online Wallet & Start Pool Mining .... 1TB is really not worth Solo Mining
-
@Castiel I just want to at least try it though :p
-
@HiDevin Go for it!
-
@haitch sorry for wasting your time, I will install this tomorrow once my internet is fast as everyone is using up the internet atm via kids :p
-
@socalguy yea ill go for it tomorrow once everyone is sleeping in the morning, my kids are usually night owls :P
