i really wanna help you man... you know what?I really wanna do a teamviewer with you. :)
-
@Castiel I dedicated 1TB, but only see a fraction of that being used.
-
@jervis Absolutely, the more I understand and learn the more I can contribute and hopefully support my peers. I very fascinated with this process and its potential. Thank you, and everyone else that have given a little of their time getting me over the hump.
-
@TonyMarq it's all good man. We are building a community of hope and goodwill. As long as the community is strong, this coin will go on higher levels.

@socalguy I downloaded and ran the software, but again haven't a clue what to look for. When I installed the software, I expected an icon or something to appear on the desktop; however, it appears that this software is running in the background, and, I presume, checking the plotter on the drive. Not sure what I am expecting to see or be looking for.
Your support is very welcome. Thanks.

@TonyMarq save the plotchecker to your drive C. copy paste it there. Then, go to run or press windows + R on your keyboard. Windows key is usually between your alt and ctrl.
then on the blank enter cmd press enter
then a black cmd will pop up.
enter CD\
then, enter c:\PlotsChecker c:\Burst\plots
or if you have your plots on drive D, put c:\PlotsChecker d:\Burst\plots

@jervis OK, did as requested and ran it. This is the result:

-
@TonyMarq This is what being generated when I redid the "start mining" button. Not sure what it means. Thanks,
-
@TonyMarq It means the problem with file is fixed, and you're mining with it. However, I wouldn't recommend mining the burst-team.eu pool, you're not going to get a usable deadline very often. I'd recommend switching to http://pool.burstcoin.eu/ or one of the other smaller pools that accept longer deadlines.
-
@haitch Thank you. I'm currently linked to the "pool.burst-team.us". Unfortunately, my training is still lagging in knowledge and exposure on the pools or even how to understand the mining process in general and the marketabilities. I've only been doing this a short time and there's a lot to learn. My next few steps will hopefully clarify the meaning of the account screen, and later view the others supporting screens on the general processes. Everyone as be some helpful, love it. Thanks.
-
@TonyMarq Welcome man! You said you had plotted 1Tb but with the correction you mad with PlotChecker your plot has now just 132Gb, most likely because when you were plotting the plotter ran out of memory, so you have to replot the remaining space, then you should have more deadlines! xP
-
@TonyMarq Oh yeah, you've made it finally. :) you're done with the hard part, now for the excruciating part, MINE! hehe!
-
@gpedro Will do. And we know how long that may re-take. :)
-
@jervis Well, that will be my next challenge, learning the meanings of these numbers and how to interpret them. For some odd reason, I feel my posting will continue in the "Plotting & Mining" discussion page. :)
-
@TonyMarq I'm in the process of that plotting and I just notice that it's creating a second series of data against the remaining 700G space. Is this okay or was only yo have one plot totalling approx. 1TB? This is what I'm seeing.
-
@TonyMarq I have like a lots series. That's normal as long as the numbers don't overlap. You can stop a plot anytime. You just have to plotcheck it after. :)
-
@TonyMarq Since you are using the client the plots will never overlap unless you start plotting a drive on one PC and then go plot the same drive on other PC with a different drive letter, in your case, any drive letter different than O... do you see 1500544321 this means that you are starting to plot in the nonce 544321 in the drive letter 15 (15th letter of abecedary: O) xP
-
@gpedro So, you're telling me it's okay? It's just a continuation of the mine. Right?
-
@jervis So, have two plots is okay, but I should just run the plotcheck after to make sure there are no issues like I had earlier, right?

And yes, if you don't know if the plots are ok just run the plotchecker...
