Android Mining Beta Testing - Become a Tester!
-
Good! Now it's work on my Android. Thank you.
-
been testing mpool and having a blast. I seem to be winning many deadlines best dead line first miner or a reasonable amount to giggle every time my phone goes off. But for three days I've been mining successfully but no coins into my wallet. Is the transfer not 24 hours like in the pc mining version. you can see me there I'm snorklepuss1 . my computer is plotting as we speak so until I figure out how to run both miners without conflicting I'll likely just be on the pc. But would lilke to figure out if I am actually making any burst( yes I understand it will be a small amount but that small amount would be larger than right now.

snorklepuss1So it's interesting, the mpool is so small that only a single block has been hit in recent times and that was when there was a 50TB miner in there to help us. I can tell you I have tried many things, I had the Android miner on the EU pool and I made between .1 and 1 burst a day. On the Mobile pool if we hit a block you payouts will be huge. My one payout just for being the pool was 389 Burst. It will happen, the mpool today is more like playing the lottery at no cost instead of mining in a pool. As more Android units join in on the fun and games the average will spread out but the chance of the pool finding a block will grow.
Hope this explains it.

@IceBurst yup perfect reply. Your a patient gaffer that's for sure. Thanks for your help AGAIN :)

Something that has happened twice now, even though I have turned the media volume down if I'm on a call that sound effect still comes through. Awkward silence ensues... :S
-
@Burstde Good News, the latest wallet update as of 10-5
I was able to create a plot using the android 4.4.4
Moto G working now thankyou
-
Again thank you to the community for testing. I have just published what I believe will be the last beta version prior to the 2.0 Release. This is identified as v2.0.5
Addressed Issues are:- Miss Identified Power Manager error before of Burst Numeric ID greater than 2^63-1
- Leaving Mining and Coming back picks right up where it left off.
There will be one more Beta release, I forgot to address the plotter breaking if you rotate your screen.

Can we please get rid of the sound effect, if I want to listen to music it plays right over the top of it. Not great for your daily phone.
-
@Slaw - Completely understand, v2.1 roadm ap has a user preferences setting where you can turn off the sound
-
Transformer TF101 - Transformed into a serious Burstcoin Miner
Working thank you for last update.
Yes take out your old tablets and start mining with them. Since the last android wallet update it plots great. Plots to whatever media you have and, Mines Fast.
P.S. I flashed Kitkat Rom 4.2 a longtime ago.

thx
-
@daWallet this isn't possible with iPhone? I have 2 that I can out to some use ;)
-
@samreader1 Not for now... Apple store charge a annualy fee for developpers and i believe it's not that low x(
-
@gpedro hah, that sucks for iPhone users but your explanation makes sense, thank you sir!
-
@samreader1 I'm sure it will be some iOS developper pretty soon willing to help with that... xD
But in iphone you can still use burst through your browser... you just can't mine xD

The problem with iOS is Apple, the approval process for loading an App into the store does not have provisions for a tool such as burst. Apple is almost the opposite of a decentralized self administrated utopia. Think about it, the only way to get an iPhone is to buy it from a valid authorized Apple dealer of which there are few and your only choice for O/S is iOS and the market place is heavily monitored by Apple.
sigh My Apple diatribe.
