Android Mining Beta Testing - Become a Tester!

@IceBurst I was on 4.4.4 and worked good!
-

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge with Android 6.0.1 here.
When I try to start mining it say 4 confirmations remaining, i wait and it drops correctly, then it seems that it's mining, but I never find my address in mobile.burst-team.us also if I click the back button it asks me to login again, when I go back to the mining, it start all over again, always asking for 4 confirmations and does the same over and over.
-
@Zeus You need a deadline below 2 years to get listed on http://mobile.burst-team.us:8080 (Port is important!). With 10 GB you should get listed sooner or later. Good luck.
-
@daWallet hahaha my deadline is of 42 years, I'm just trying with 1 GB so it's normal then :P
-
I am having a bit of a problem with the app it is not showing my SD card it is trying to use my internal memory, is there any way to switch to my SD card
-
@abansb Does your SD card has more than 1GB of free space? The app will just show the bigger device storage...
-
yes I have 29.71 GB free
-
@abansb I had a problem with one SD card of mine that was not showing in there too... @daWallet and @IceBurst already know about that... And i tried to format the card in the PC in various formats and format in the mobile too and nothing changed... I guess it's the earlyer code, that's the reason for the beta tests, just caught this kind of things?! They will fix it soon for sure... You could leave your Android Version, that will possible help them out...

@gpedro thanks

Problem finding the sdcards on the Transformer pad TF101. The wallet automatically goes to the main flash drive (full) . No way to point it to the other sd card slots similar to windows c:\ D:\ etc to plot file to
now working as of last update*****

Hi,
I got the same error "ERROR IN POWERMANAGER".
I'm running Android 6.0 on Huawai P8
I had setup on power manager "Burst Wallet App" as a save app - (do not close after cell sleep)
and not help.

Thank you guys! Every error you find is a step forward for us! This is beta testing and a better version of the App will be delivered directly in your Play Store soonish. :)

Trying it with 2 Android Devices: LG G4 and LG G5
Issues/Bugs G5--running Marshmallow 6.whatever (non-rooted [and I am not patiently waiting for some Android dev to pick up a significant bounty (I think over 4000 at this point) for a root], as there are currently no safe root for US mobile carriers LG G5 firmware--all "rooting" runs significant risk of hard brick/doorstop making):
-
POWERMANAGER ERROR when trying to plot (can't play around as much on this as I can on the rooted G4 (see, infra). Total rock in the gears. No Plotting. No Mining. So I have no idea if any mining bugs exist, since I cannot plot due to this error;
-
Unable to use either external SD Card or the USB Type C 3.1 data/charging port as an option for plotting on a USB 3.1 flash drive like this:
This would be especially nice with a 5-port USB Type C 3.1 hub, something like this hub:

(apparently made for burst mining from a G5 w/ USB Type C connector)
-
3 x USB 3.0 Ports (powered) for adding lets say 3 x 2TB Externals + SD Memory Card Slot (kaaa-ching);
-
Powered/Power Delivery Allows charging of phone, tablet or phablet while mining mountains of Burst from wherever.
Regardless, at least on my G5 not only am I completely unable to plot due to POWERMANAGER ERROR, it seems that even if I were, I would be limited to my internal SD Card, which is teeming with crap, bloatware, system junk, porn, and other things I cannot part with. I need to be able to choose the place for my plots. Even if the USB C 3.1 port and hub is not viable at this point (but I'm confident we could make it work), I need to at least be able to choose the external SD Card for plotting on a 512GB or 1024GB superspeed micro SD card.
If I can help in anyway, with anything really, please don't hesitate to ask. I think this is revolutionary considering you should be able to mine considerable amounts of Burst from a smartphone....smartphone crypto miners in the past (and present) are nothing more than a novelty (you might be able to mine 20000 satoshi over the course of a month, but that is usually offset and then some by the thermal destruction to your phone from mining. So I think this is really, really, innovative and revolutionary. Let me know how I can help.
And Hats Off to the Devs and Idea guys and gals behind this project, bravo!

@Feltersnatch Great post! Seems like the app has problems recognizing external sd cards in marshmallow. We totally need guys like you with high end hardware, too.
Mining for everybody is revolutionary indeed. What we all have in common on this planet are our mobile devices. The whole world can use this currency and be a part of the infrastructure at the same time. Only a tiny bit, but part of it. It's the currency by the people for the people.
1 Million mobile miners have no costs to provide 10 GB of free space each. They would strengthen the network with 10 Petabyte. A big scale miner with HDDs who want to earn some money, which is legitimate, has hardware and power costs (overhead costs). 10 PetaByte actually cost around $ 250.000 in HDD hardware alone...
This is the magic of big numbers. It will lead to true decentralization.
