SILVER - we're expanding and joining BURST
-
The wallets have not been forking in the last few days. The network has been very solid.
-
Well, i got nothing then... damned if i know what happened.
@crutsy when you come online, please send me your burst address and how many assets you bought so i can give you a refund on it. Same for the other buyer.
I just hope future sells will work properly from now on.
-
Just to show how it looks on my end. My burst addy is BURST-3BT5-6RGK-3TQL-GUAJ9
-
@crutsy I know you placed that order. and funny thing is that i saw it executed and 10 mins later it vanished. same for the money. strange as hell...
i'll give you a refund regardless. i'll send over the refund in a few mins as soon as my polo withdrawal comes in.
-
@nameless I agree I have actually watched the order and the burst come and go a few times back and forth. I am unable to cancel the order as well. odd anomaly
As for the burst you return I will make sure to re-invest them in your asset when things are figured out. And vise versa I will return any burst that I am not due.
-
@nameless @crutsy Guys, I bought for 20k, received assets. I just log in, see my money gone, no assets and a pending buy order (which I can't cancel) in the asset? Seems like I have the same as crutsy..
-
@BurgerBaron yeah i have no idea what's going on. I'll give you a ''refund'' as well. please send me your acc number. Maybe try and buy again after i sent you the 20k burst. I hope it was a one-time glitch.
-
@nameless Thanks burst received!
@crowetic @luxe Should we try another order? Since we have an open unconfirmed one still? Just looking for some technical input. I could see it helping and/or hurting
-
@crutsy i appreciate the benefit of the doubt that you're giving me here. and the honesty. 10k burst sent back to you and apparently confirmed :D
-
@nameless You do not need to refund anything, transactions that do not get processed, will be auto reverted after deadline reached (ca. one week)
I did not find a proof, that the high number of tokens+digits causes the issue,
but after i saw methods like this, i'm quite sure ...public static long safeMultiply(long left, long right) throws ArithmeticException { if (right > 0 ? left > Long.MAX_VALUE/right || left < Long.MIN_VALUE/right : (right < -1 ? left > Long.MIN_VALUE/right || left < Long.MAX_VALUE/right : right == -1 && left == Long.MIN_VALUE) ) { throw new ArithmeticException("Integer overflow"); } return left * right; }Just did not find a example that fits to my guess.
-
@luxe thanks for looking into the matter.
As far as the refunds go, i'll gladly pull 30k burst from my pocket to make sure everything's allright, no worries there.
we'll have to see what happens next . If it is indeed a matter of the assets number, i'll issue a new one and make a swap with current holders, and then just burn this asset.
-
However, i'm quite interested in finding the bug, but i'm too tired right now ... will put that on my todo list ... if there is a limit in number of tokens for a asset, the gui should inform users.
-
Perhaps it would be wiser to just make a new asset then. Raise the price a 10x and dividend 10x as well. And ofc , less shares for sale. I'll get right on it.

@nameless Your honesty in handling this matter speaks to you as an asset owner. I for one have much more confidence.
I have placed a successful order for 100 assets, I will wait to place and the 10,000 buy for about a week so see if the burst is returned. That way I can keep track if I need to send your 10k back. Also this will give luxe time to investigate and create less confusion if the asset needs to be recreated.
You can count me in at any rate!
-
@crutsy , much appreciated.
@everyone, just to be safe and bug-free i created a second asset : NEWSILVER (id : 4445759384780677962 )
I've canceled all silver sale orders and we're moving over to the new asset that has but 10 mil shares. I'll start a new thread for it.
@administrators please close down this thread, and thank you for your support and feedback.

Topic is locked and moved to Asset Help&Support ... we need devs to look into this.
