BSILVER - by crowetic - silver backed BURST asset!
-
@digidan there's an earnings calculator at http://burstcoin.biz/calculator, but any ROI calculation would rely on future value of Burst, which is un-knowable.
-
I think he meant ROI on investing in this asset.
-
Once the first asset payout happens (which I'm going to say will be October 1st, or the first week in October) I will be able to calculate the ROI and APR.
I will be putting these calculations on http://burstcoin.online as well.
I'm thinking of setting up multiple 'stat pages' for our assets that will contain all of the ROI and APR information as it sits.

hi Crowetic... I don't know if I have done this right but mine has been pending for hours already.
thanksWere you ever able to get this working?
It isn't normal for the chain to stick for hours, it could be like Zeus mentioned I believe, that you've got issues with your local chain, if you're using the local wallet, that is.

That's a great idea!

@crowetic Great Information.! Don't want to change your concept or the assets purpose. Just wondering about storing the actual silver and the logistics of it. Does it not make more sense like to buy Shares on Silver funds on the stock market that has the actual silver there as backing? The only silver funds that has actual physical metal backing is Sprott Physical Silver Trust. Would this not help on the management of the asset. Just an idea.

Personally, I don't trust anything but having the actual silver in my own secure location. I have a safe, which is being bolted to the concrete and hidden.
This to me, is something that I can guarantee a lot more than putting faith anywhere near the current system. These 'silver paper tokens' or whatever you get when you buy silver on the stock market... are as good as the paper they're written on...
Since this asset is backed by physical silver, it should actually be backed by physical silver, not by a piece of paper stating that I own physical silver somewhere.
When the system we know collapses, I highly doubt that any of the people who 'own silver' via these paper methods, will actually receive the silver to which they are entitled, unfortunately.
So yea, while it may potentially help the management of the asset slightly, the reward does not equal greater than the risk to me at all. I much more highly trust myself and my security systems, and safe, than I would these companies guarantee that I 'hold silver'
If the asset gets VERY large, I do have a very remote off-grid location that I could use to store the silver in an extremely secure fashion.

@crowetic is preparing us for the rescue of the end of the world...xD Seems you have all thinked out and i think we are in good hands here!
-
@crowetic the challenge I was subjected to before is now okay. As a newbie (been here for months) I have learned a lot of things here, mostly technical stuffs. Especially, with Asset Exchange, I am inclined to sharing my capabilities for the community. :D

I'm not going to make a long post about this, but I have no idea why there is any of this left, it is my humble opinion that now is the time to get these while they are cheap, you all know the price doubles soon as it sells out, and you guys know how we operate, we will be continually upgrading these assets like no bodys business, I am personally going to put money out of my own pocket to put at least one miner on the bsilver asset, maybe 2 or more depending on how things go, dynamix and bsilver are the future, your future, our future, join us and profit with us. this adventure has a very happy ending, and it's no fun sharing that happiness alone! I have nothing but very high hopes for these assets, and good reason to have high hopes for them, I just had to say something because I have no idea why there is any of this left to buy, i'll be throwing some kind of bonus to you guys right after bsilver sells out, so invest with confidence, love, happiness, and financial stability I wish for everyone here, have a nice rest of your weekend guys. oh, I guess it was kind of long xD

I still think you guys you should launch & manage such assets on a site ....
@crowetic once told me ''Give a person a fish, or teach them how to fish, right? ;)''
I agree with that ... But my next question would be, why just go to a Lake for fishing when you can get a lot more in Sea ? :P
There are lot more things which may help you pool funds from Investors when the site goes online ....
Just for Example, Referral System ... Best Method of Marketing & Pooling Funds.
You wont be able to use it in Wallet. But if you are running the same thing on Site.... It will work like a Charm.Think Big...Get Big ! :D

@Castiel I do believe a website is already in the works, let me see if I can find it for you.
-
@Kitsune http://burstcoin.online/
But I meant in Terms of Mechanism & Acitivity
-
@crowetic Hey man, so what do we even have for a website so far, just the name right? it would be super legit to have a nice website that explains everything and keeps track of all our goings on and what not, and whatever mechanism is, and activity XD is it just having the time to put it together? I mean, it will probably bring us traffic and help sell our assets and might even make the price better, what do you think man?

The website is at http://burstcoin.online
I've just received 10 more oz of silver, will post pictures soon, I'll also be posting pictures of the power backing the asset as it sits... here's a graph of what is mining currently...
Bear in mind that the power currently mining is minus 10+ more GPUs that have yet to be built into systems. Also, there will be multiple new rackservers being setup as well. So this is only the beginning of the mining, what is mining right now is...
2 - Antminer S7 SHA miners
4 - nVidia 750ti GPUs
1 - AMD FX4300 CPU
1 - intel i7 6700K CPU
2 - AMD 380 GPUs
1 - AMD 470 GPU
the ones that are still to be setup include:
5 - AMD 370GPUs
4- AMD 480 GPUs
1 - nVidia 750ti
1 - AMD 7950 GPU
more coming!
-
@crowetic Thus it begins.
-
Here's the start of the 5x370 miner that I'm building at the office.
You'll notice there is no case for this one yet, but that will come soon, mm and I are talking about starting an open air case building company, and beating all prices of the competitors.
You'll also notice under the seemingly random totally open air system, is an HP rackserver. This is one of 8 servers that recently arrived at my location. I've flipped this one to the CEO of the new company that I am working with, built it up to be a nice VMWare system for him to backup his current servers.
The next rackservers I'm going to attempt to build into GPU miners as long as the board will accept multiple GPUs. If not, I'll put as many GPUs as I can in them, and set them up as dual host/mining machines.
I've also got another open air miner built with currently 4x750ti GPUs... I'm going to be replacing the GPUs with 4x480 and 1x7950, then putting the 750ti's into one of the rackservers if they'll run them.
I also just received 10 more oz of .999 fine silver, in the form of 1 oz silver coins.
Things are progressing nicely. I'll have more pictures and information in the upcoming week, and I'll be updating the http://burstcoin.online site as well. :)
Thanks!

@crowetic i find naked rigs very sexy :D
great job so far. keep at it! In crow we trust (lol this should be the burst community motto)
-
Oh yea, you may also notice on the ground the front part of an AntMiner S7, this is one of the 2 S7s that I have right now. This one currently isn't running, because after some testing in the server room (where the pictures are located) things became way too hot running that thing. Even though there's a dedicated AC unit in the room, it's simply too small of a room.
So what I'm going to be doing, is getting a corner of the huge warehouse out back, and getting a portion of their 3-phase power. Then I'll be not only putting multiple miners in there, but also offering some services based on them, and the space/power setup. :)
I'll be asking for 300+ amps of power, and a 12x12 portion of the warehouse... not sure exactly what I'll be able to get... but the CEO did say he was interested in mining with me.
The building has industrial power rates, which I believe right now are about .04 / kwh. This is amazing and opens the door for a VERY profitable mining operation.
Once I get these things in place, I may also be offering miner hosting, and miner building operations through the BURST marketplace.
I'll keep everyone updated :)
