@Bitdv Unconfirmed transactions are in the cache of all nodes, they got broadcasted to, so they are not lost but may happen later ... however either your payouts get confirmed or they will be refunded to the sending account after 24h.
@LithStud This behavior that so much nodes fork is quite new and could be displayed more nice i guess, before we just had 1 or 2 nodes forking off not a hole group that often ... kind of a fight within the network right now ... but after all, one chain will win :-)
I thought about display it like this:

I have the data (https://github.com/de-luxe/burstcoin-observer/blob/master/src/main/java/burstcoin/observer/service/NetworkService.java#L75),
but not sure how to visualize it ... would be cool to be able to scroll back a hole day or something. Number of nodes could be shown in circles and concrete urls on mousover or something.
You are the web dev :-)

@LithStud kk thanks mate
-
Update:
- fixed asset volume calculation on prices lower 1 burst
- order network entries by type added info on https
- updated libs
-
@luxe damn didnt see the edit till now :) gonna take a look in that file as it coincides with something i want to visualize just the data differs ;)
-
@luxe perhaps https://gephi.org/ to visualize the graph of nodes
-
@iKnow0 thats a cool software :) i myself visualizing in web browser so needed a js library :) found one that generates nice network just cant recall how its called.
-
Update:
- parallel check of network urls
- alphabetical type order
- using proxy only for none-wallet connections
- updated libs
- some minor changes
@LithStud @iKnow0 I first had to improve/solve issues due to the ongoing ddos, hopefully i will find time for the suggestions as well ...
@nixxda I suggest updating.

Just played with some charts for pool overview ... will be included in next version.
Available at http://util.burst-team.us:8888/pool

-
@luxe Very nice!
-
I also added some candlestick graphs for asset overview, but showing them for every asset is quite slow, so i have to implement a show/hide in addition ... for now i limited the graphs to first 25 assets.
Test it at http://util.burst-team.us:8888/asset, feedback welcome!
Also have to find a way to show trade volume ... thats tricky :-)

Node block history is now available, used Sankey Diagram for it. Such a diagram could look like:

Just replaced the countries with block+genSig combination.
Does not look very spectacular in network, and on fast blocks missing data in the history may be a problem ... but better than nothing for now :-)

@msgAnton Yep, sadly it is not possible to force same block height to the same vertical axis/position ... thanks for posting the picture, i was not sure how this chart would behave in case of a fork ... and yes i'm not really happy with this chart, it is not a beauty :-)
And damn, i have to stop using utf-8 icon for https, the yellow one there is ugly.
-
@luxe use font awesome :)
-
@luxe have a look into this js library http://visjs.org/docs/network/index.html ;) havent tried it myself yet but from those i been looking at this one seems to be very well done. Btw i been looking for libraries to handle large amount of nodes in visualizing so there might be some better library if need to visualize small amount of data :)
-
@msgAnton I did not want to include a font, just for 2 icons ... but found nice little page to generate base64 for single icon from a icon-font. http://fa2png.io/icons/
-
@luxe you could add little icons to all your tabs on top. Twitter. Github. Facebook. Youtube icons all included. Add all the marketing possible. Burst needs to get out there ;)
-
@LithStud Wow that looks nice ... i will look deeper into it, thanks.
But for now i could not find a example that fits my needs here:
http://visjs.org/network_examples.html
Looks like it is perfect for hierarchy, but in hierarchy nodes do not link back to nodes with other parents.@msgAnton Agree, using more icons would make e.g. navi look better ...
But this socal media stuff is nothing for me :-) Once i tried to create account at twitter, and did not understand why i need phone number to register on a website :-)
-
@luxe try looking at the larger ones with cities i think, or maybe with arrows. In showcase page there is one Elite Trade Net that one seems to use what you need.
-
@LithStud Well would be perfect to draw a transactions graph/cloud i guess :-) You have something like this in mind?
