Yes close the miner. But when you are starting again, try this.
Copy the and past your passphrase and the burst address of the pool into notepad first. Check for spaces at the front and end of the Burst address and passphrase.
Once you have verified that there are no spaces, you can continue from step three. But use the Burst address of the pool and your passphrase from your notepad. When copying from the notepad, ensure there are no extra spaces in the front or end. Paste the info into the correct areas.
Once you have hit submit, wait for 30 minutes. Once 30 minutes are up, start mining and let us know if you are still encountering issues. :)
